Doomsday Remembered

November 18, 1992. This was the day that Superman fought to a standstill the rampaging monster known as Doomsday, giving up his life in the process. Doomsday (the day, not the monster) is remembered every year on this date. It is a date to remember and pay homage to all heroes that have given their lives in the protection of others.

To give one's life in the protection of others is the most noble sacrifice one can do in any world. Like so many things, Superman leads by example. But how much more heroic is it that a human being, without the powers of Kal-El puts their life on the line for the safety of others? Spend today remembering and honoring those people.
